Everyone wants to see a married couple or anyone in a partnership stay together and live in harmony.
Unfortunately however, the reality is that more marriages and relationships than ever are failing with many ending up in acrimonious splits, often with disastrous and longlasting emotional and financial consequences on the partners and children alike.
Important factors that can lead to separation or even just general friction in a relationship include:-
- Ongoing or isolated cases of infidelity on the part of a spouse/partner
- The mere perception of infidelity
- Hiding of assets
- General dishonesty and the lack of trust that comes with it
- Unexplained absences
- Unexplained changes in behaviour
- Secrecy of a spouse/partner in regards to their past
The Family Court of WA is often called on to intervene, particularly where children are involved and allegations of abuse, neglect or maltreatment are made.
The Child Support Agency (CSA) becomes involved when a spouse fails to honour their obligation to pay Child Support. In many cases, the offending spouse may actually be able-bodied and working but claiming otherwise.
The gathering of evidence can be vitally important, either for presentation to lawyers and/or the Family Court, or just because you need to know for your own peace of mind.
Evidence gathering can take the form of:-
- Surveillance, either for a brief period of time covering a single event, or over a prolonged period of time to identify patterns of behaviour; or
- Factual Investigation, which may include obtaining Statements or other documentary evidence in preparation for a Court hearing.
Allwest Investigations Group has years of experience in the investigation of these types of issues.
We take great pride in our ability to get results when they are achievable, and to communicate openly and honestly with our clients from the outset.
